BAHO Holzhandels- und Transportvermittlungs GmbH founded in Deggendorf. Hans Holzfurtner and Stefano dal Lago are first listed as the managing directors in the Commercial Register.
Storage capacity for small amounts of timber and bottlenecks are made available at the Deggendorf free port. The convenient location of the head office also in the Deggendorf free port ensures short communication lines and rapid handling.
The rapidly increasing volume of trade necessitates a significant expansion in the free port area. The company erects its own timber loading terminal in order to store additional timber as well as load it. Besides BAHO’s core business with partners in Italy, England and the Near East the company pursues a consequent expansion into other European Union countries.
BAHO delivers the first consignment of timber to South East Asia. The main customers here are in the construction industry.
